ABOUT
Next-generation fintech: Challenging Responsible Monetization
Over the last decade, fintech has become a cornerstone of innovation in Japan. Today, the industry is evolving again, driven by breakthroughs in Web3, generative AI, new payment systems, and digital assets. This next generation of fintech has the potential to achieve not just short-term profitability but also long-term, sustainable monetization that aligns with customer value and social impact. FIN/SUM2025 embraces this vision of “Responsible Monetization” as a means to accelerate economic growth, foster new industries, and boost Japan’s global competitiveness. It offers a platform for in-depth discussions and networking to shape the future of fintech.
