Compete with the social issues you solve and how to use them if you raise 20-billion yen! Looking for ambitious startups, see below.
In 2021, we saw leading US platformers acquired Japanese fintech startups. The scale of those are tens of billions of yen and 100 billion yen. To accelerate these movements, Japanese startups themselves need to come up with new growth plans instead of those based on their existing financing. Impact Pitch, a unique pitch-run aiming for large-scale global fund-raising, focuses on "what are the social issues the company is trying to solve" and "what to do if the company raises 20 billion yen". Participating startups can apply via the Internet, and eight finalists selected through several screening processes will hold pitch presentations on the stage of FIN/SUM2022 on March 31. The pitch will disseminate to the world through simultaneous interpretation in English and online distribution.

ABOUT
As difficult challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and widening inequality hit the world, the role of finance is drawing attention again.
Investment to create new technologies and business models, loans to grow existing businesses and services, and payments and operations that bring peace of mind and stability to people's lives.
Fintech, where these financial functions and money flows are fused with the latest digital technology, has the potential to bring about innovation in various situations and open up a new era.
Just as Shohei Ohtani of Los Angeles Angels has transformed MLB with the two-way player as "pitcher" and "batter", giving baseball fans many dreams and hopes, FIN/SUM2022 is for both "business" and "society". Aiming for the dual wield of a wonderfully transforming economy, we give dreams and hope to everyone in the world. Look forward to FIN/SUM’s "Shotime" on March 29-31 in Tokyo!
